Footsteps Historical Interpretation & Drama Consultants are very pleased to announce that they have been successful in gaining the tender to write & develop the new walking tour for Strabane District Council. Over the next couple of months Footsteps will be writing the new tour, in consultation with the Tourism Development Officer, Philip McShane. Footsteps will also be training all the new tour guides as well as producing a training DVD and a tourism film, highlighting some of the more interesting historical figures of the area. Updates will be posted throughout the process.

Footsteps held its first meeting with Philip McShane, Tourism Officer for Strabane District Council. The meeting was very productive with input from the Film makers and local historical societies. So begins the research and script writing for the new tour. 6x scripts which will be performed throughout the district. Thinking caps to the fore for the next week!
ReplyDeleteBusy week getting research together and have started the script writing for the District tour. Two parts down four to go!! Then on to the film script for the six part film. Lots to do!
ReplyDeleteSo thought it was about time we updated you with regards this project. The scripts are all done, and we are currently in the process of training would be guides. Next week we start rehearsing for the promotional DVD with filming scheduled for the 1st week of June!
