Last Orders Continues to Warrenpoint
After a successful run in Rostrevor, Omeath & Mullagbane, Ross McShane's Last Orders moves on to Warrenpoint in February 2018. The Warrenpoint Golf Club may seem an unusual spot to find a piece of new theatre but it is an ideal setting for this two act play. Set in a pub, Dominick the bar man is trying to shut up shop but his efforts are thwarted by a cantankerous punter who wants one last drink. The two begin to chat and soon their conversation gets on to life, religion and the afterlife. Finally they are both startled by an unusual visitor.
This is a play that will challenge you to question your own beliefs and is a moving first outing written by Warrenpoint man Ross McShane. To purchase tickets contact Footsteps at footstepsnorthernireland@gmail.com

Footsteps To Help ASDA Bring World Book Day To Life!
Asda set to bring World Book Day to Life!
Characters from the most popular children’s novels will take charge of the shopping aisles in Asda to celebrate World Book Day (Thursday 2nd March).
Big and little kids are encouraged to come along next week, to hear the magical words of JK Rowling and Lewis Carroll, as told by Asda’s very own Professor Snape and Mad Hatter ahead of World Book Day.
Speaking about the activity, Asda Antrim’s Community Champion, Barbara Logan said:
“World Book Day is a fantastic opportunity to encourage reading, and this activity will really help ‘the words jump off the page!’ Reading is a great way to fire children’s imagination, and we know our customers will enjoy seeing these classic stories being brought to life.”
Interactive reading sessions will take place in selected Asda Stores (Asda Antrim / Asda Enniskillen / Asda Larne) on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st February at selected times.
Children can swap their World Book Day tokens in store, or use their money-off coupons on a wide selection of book available in store.
